Let's go to Kyoto together （nagasaka)

Karesansui garden

Although I don't excuse my old age, I felt comfortable when I was in karesansui garden during the sightseeing inKyoto in may.
Put simply it's healing. I was surprised that the tourists were not only the aged but also so many young people.
Many of them were thinking there for 10 minutes or more. So I was watching the younger's look rather than watching Karesansui garden.
I introduce you one of the Kyoto's Karesansui garden.

Ryoanji temple ( a world heritage site)
As it is known as a world heritage, it was crowded.
To hear that, it was established by Katsumoto Hosokawa who was a hero of Onin War in Muromachi era.
This picture is a part of 15 rocks which are on the Karesansui garden.
I'm interested in old things but I don't know it in detail.
This was a beautiful garden which I was watching for a long time.

I had one more sight which I wanted to see.
That was a "Tsukubai" which was a stone basin in a garden.
At the center of it, there is a Kanji of "kuchi" and these four words are marked using this Kanji.
I couldn't find it easily, because it was located at the back of the temple. As I had wanted to watch it, when I watched it I was very happy .

　枯山水
　年のせいにするわけではないが、5月に京都を観光してみて居心地が良かったのは枯山水であった。”癒される”の一言である。庭園を見学しているのは年配ばかりではなく、むしろ若者も多いことに驚いた。その多くは10分、20分と座って物思いにふけっている。枯山水よりも、若者の表情を眺めてしまった。これから、私が見学した京都枯山水の一端を紹介する。

龍安寺（世界遺産）
　ここは世界遺産だけあって混んでいた。聞けば室町時代に細川勝元（応仁の乱の主人公）によって創建されたらしい。この写真は15個ある石の一部分である。古いものに興味が沸くが詳しい訳ではない。しかし、不思議と飽きずに見とれる庭であった。

この寺には、もう１つ見たいものがあった。蹲踞（つくばい）である。そこには、「吾唯知足」（われ、ただ足るを知る）と記されている。写真中央が□という字になっていて、これを利用して4つの漢字が作られている。寺の裏手にあったので、探すのに苦労した。大変見たかったので嬉しかった。
